I'll never get over that

I haven't forgotten that. One of the reasons I started thinking the EPL had favourites. From the Mendes goal to that incident and a couple of others. I also remember that tackle on Dembele away from home.

I kind of have this idea that in 5 or so years time, him, Lloris and Davies will all be involved in behind the scenes roles at the club. More the Bayern sort of model.

This is of course with Mason as manager, and Son providing state-sponsored patronage as President of (the newly reunited under his glow) Korea.

For me, Vertonghen had a quality that nobody ever speaks about. That is the ability to get everybody around him playing better. Davies was perhaps the best example. Ben played all his best football when Jan was on his inside.
