He shouldn’t even be at the club. It can’t be excused that he decided to work against Newport, that’s his job and he’s paid an extortionate amount to do it. He’s not good enough to be in our squad. I can’t hide and say that I think a player is good when I think he’s brick. I think he is our biggest transfer flop in a long time, especially given that he cost as much as he did. I’d prefer never to see him named in our starting line up again. Forums are the place for discussing our players and seeing as every other player gets criticism, then why should a player who is most deserving of criticism be given a break?

Competent, if somewhat underwhelming. Job done. The difference in level was abundantly clear tonight, much more so than in the first leg.
Great to see Toby and Rose back. Both put in decent showings. Winks looked OK. I thought he had injured his ankle again from the way he grabbed it when he went down after that horrifically late attempt at a tackle but he seemed to recover quickly (was he exaggerating?). Lamela had a very good game, looked pretty sharp.
Llorente could still be out there now and wouldn't score. I bet Kane wishes he could have played - he'd have notched up a hat trick no problem.
Sissolo was generally fine. It's embarrassing listening to some fans taking the p1ss out of him constantly. Totally unnecessary (most of the time).
All in all a good run out. Should have scored more but served as a good exercise in regaining match sharpness for the returnees.
Sights now fully on Saturday. Wembley was quite subdued tonight but will be back to its best at the weekend.

Disagree. In fact, we were remarking how much stronger he looked, that there was a great player in there and that he made great decisions. I attribute the early jitters from everyone to Vorm. He complicated a situation soon after KO and it took 10 mins to settle.
