It's always hard to judge if youngsters are going make that step up and often a change of club works well for them, it can be either the environment or they change their attitude. I thought Josh Onomah was an outstanding talent as a kid but it didnt happen for him.

It was great watching the U21 side last year and fitting they won the league but that's not the major aim for the academy, it's to produce players good enough to get in the 1st team and few will reach that standard playing against other kids each week, loans with playing time are essential in their development.

our under 18s playing Palace away today and Leon Myrtaj is a sub, he's a winger of Albanian descent and according to a mate is a good prospect, scored a few goals for u16s last season.
