Been some rumours that we have the option to extend for a year.

If he's going into the last year of his contract I think the options are for him to extend or for us to sell him. No point having him stick around if the best case scenario is him doing well and maybe leaving on a free at the end of it.
 
I'm watching our Toy Parrot right now.
His team went behind but then looked good, got an equaliser, then foolishly handballed on the line which meant a red card and pen. At 3-1 down, our toy got a penno. Then Excelsior rattled the bar, quite a good game considering 10 men for an hour.

May be another loan for him? A step up and see what he can do. Think quite a few clubs will be interested after this season. Would perhaps be a useful 3rd choice for us, but limited game time probably isn't what he needs right now.

He is 22 years old, time for us to make a decision, to keep or sell. I think it all depends on pre season.

If he's happy to I don't see the problem with another loan deal (assuming the contract situation is sorted). Quite a few players we have signed and would have wanted to sign hadn't broken through at a PL level yet at 22-23.
 
If he stayed with us and got better, the Irish mafia would only become a bigger issue, so let's see if we can make some money and let it be someone else's lookout.

🤦‍♂️ Hasn't impacted him up until now. He's worth pitance at the moment. If sold it should be football based and not a what if.

Pre-season, extend the contract (we have a +1), if he's not immediately ready, back on loan in Netherlands (he's apparently seen very favorably based on this year) at a better club, re-evaluate in a year.

His goal return playing for a relegation quality side is quite impressive. Certainly Dutch sides are interested. What could he do with better service?

Think he’s alreadya £15-20m player. I think he could well play a role with us if he has a good preseason with Ange.
