This is why it was ridiculous when people were saying that we shouldn’t bring in a new striker when Kane and Son were injured as it would hamper Parrot’s development. He is still far more likely to not make it at the top level than the other way round.
 
Further to me not criticising Parrott from what I have seen him and Brewster at sheff utd, they are the same, talented players with big futures but 2 seasons from being prem ready.
 
Watched him last week in their FA cup game against a conference team. He was not particularly good. Very average.

Thought would have shown more against lower league opposition.

He was out with his first serious injury. He's been played a lot on the left wing, sometimes as the number 10. They seem to move him to a new position every game.
His Bale type curse isn't doing him any favours. Millwall have failed to win a single league game that he has played any minutes in. That's 11 games.

Yes Parrott's mate is Lee Byrne. Lee Byrne's father is Daniel Kinahan's second in command Liam Byrne. https://www.irishtimes.com/news/cri...han-s-lieutenant-in-dublin-1.3840634?mode=amp

Liam Byrne's brother David Byrne was shot dead at planned attack at a boxing weigh-in at the Regency Hotel in Dublin. Kinahan was the target. The attackers were dressed as police and carried AK47s. This is part of the Hutch-Kinahan feud which has resulted in at least 18 murders since 2015.
 
Nice to see. been a tough year for him given the injuries and Millwall loan.

Hopefully he can get a few between now and May and then have a more productive loan next season
