Troy Parrott

I haven't seen too much to suggest he would be suited to playing wide, so that's a little surprising.

I think that he's played there for Ireland but I don't know under what circumstances or for how long

He's only had one full international cap and played as a forward as far as I can remember.
Also, has a handful of underage caps and the few clips I've seen he played forward there too.

He has played as the number 10 and on the left for Ireland u19 and u21 in a 4231. Mainly because Ireland have 4 or 5 good underage strikers and they were trying to fit them all in. Adam Idah (Norwich) can only really play upfront whereas Parrott and Connolly are seen as much more versatile. Parrott sees himself as a number 9.

He plays there on Football Manager - discussion ended..... :D
@parklane1 approves this post

The jump from age level football to 1st team is massive, some players can cope but there aren't many club in PL who will give youngsters a chance as a striker, it's such an important position particularly as most teams just play one up front. I think it's a real shame we cant go back to reserve team football where there was a good mix of young and experienced players.
