Have £5m for taking a 17 year old you aren't particularly interested in training for 6 months (assuming we come to an arrangement to sign him for £15m, under the guise he is 'homesick').

We'll see anyway - we've got previous with Fryers, and fiddling the Vorm-Davies-Siggy deal.

Zaha is really growing on me. I was half convinced last Jan when he was linked, in that he has the right sort of attributes for Poch to work his magic with. Since when he has really stepped up as well.

I know he isnt amazing, but I really think he could be - in the right team with the right manager. And, on paper at least, his sort of pace, skill and physicality is exactly what we are lacking.
 
With the current Dembele situation, we should look to add in that departement. I really like the look of Doucouré. He looks like a real player. Could do worse than bringing him. As a Dembele replacement, he's much more suited than Barkley.

I am not one who thinks we need to buy every transfer window and I love Poch for his coaching skills and how he brings through young players, that said I want to gossip and fantasise about something other then custard.

So I see we are linked a lot with david brooks, he really fits the profile we go for and looks like a lovely young talent, reminds me a little of Dele. Him or Sessegnon who has been a little quieter this season would be the ones from the Championship I would look to sign and maybe the young Hirst from Sheff wed as a punt for our youth team.

With the problems we have in central midfield and whether the Dembele issue is coming to a head I think we will look for an all action midfielder whether we make a move in the January transfer window (Barkley) or leave it to the summer I think it is an area we will look to.

Very funny! He could be, though as I've only see him play once this season (v Bristol City, when he actually played very well) I've very deliberately stayed out of that debate/thread as I'm not up-to-date on whether the two main concerns I have about him remain valid. I was very pleasantly surprised to see Dembele in the squad yesterday though, let alone get on to the pitch; getting him back and regularly available would feel like a new signing and delay any need for a replacement - Poch's decision over MD's likely regular availability is a big call

But even less of a 5th AM option (someone a bit different to Alli, Eriksen, Son and Lamela), which is really what we need

Don’t agree that Zaha flunked his audition against us. I was there and he petrified our defenders. Was very unlucky not to score and was a constant threat imo.
 
Barkley will probably be the only incoming transfer, if any. Probably.

As for outgoing transfers, probably only youth team players being sent out on loan - possibly KWP, if we decide to keep Rose around until the summer.
