I'm personally not concerned by left-back. With Spence and even VDV, we're okay. Agree an upgraded CM would be good. But that would mean we sell Bissouma, which seems logical with only a year on his contract. Idk who we would get.
This ,most of the fellas at work are West Ham . Beyond highlight reel moment they have all been moaning about how poor he’s been this season.
Not a player we should be in for. What I’ve seen of him he looks pretty brick.Never gets his head up and for most part his passing is poor.

Which one would cover LB? It's really two players for our other gap (RWF)
Logic could be (not saying it is) -> Spence, VDV, Davies could all cover LB, Gray can cover RB if Spence being used for LB
Realistically we now have Porro, Spence, Romero (yes, likely out), Danso, Dragusin, VDV, Davies, Vuskovich, Kota, Udogie for back line (and that's not even counting Phillips), Frank can also use 3 CB's in a bit of a wonky. Not sure if any of Vuskovich/Kota can cover a side as well?

Kudus is possible because he’d probably take 110k a week. Simons or Eze closer to 200k a week. Which is a meaningful amount more.
Is Kudus polished? No. But he has real GHod given talent and technique. At 24/5 he can become a superstar, but at worst he’ll be a decent fast threat.

Elliot just seems super talented and only 22 so fits our profile. But we have Bergvail. So maybe less likely.

I think we just need a specialist LB who can rotate in for Udogie and not need to change anything. I'd also clear out a couple of CBs (probably Davies and Phillips)
I also think Gray needs to focus on DM now - his utility role is starting to harm his development.

I don't see anything in common between Elliot and Bervall. I'd see Elliot more as a right-sided Odobert. Which is what we need.
Why the fudge philips? He did great at stoke. Is 19. Will be club trained.
