We had to get permission from chatered house i believe to do the share issue and also notify them when it is drawn upon. In the application it says £150m for this year. But we have the option to increase it to £300m by 2027.

The £150m? On and off the field. So no not all on transfers. Ally gold says most of it will be though. But it still doesn't mean how much we can spend. Many transfers will be in installments. Agents fees, signing on fees, sales... but so far we have only drawn £100m of the £150m. So there should be money in the kitty.

So the holding would go from 85% to 87.5% and then to 90% should we take the full £300m?

Actually I liked this post, but after re-reading it i wouldn’t agree that CB was of highest importance before the window, that was the full back areas for me.

i think now it is of highest importance after all the signings we’ve made so far though.

Our defence is very good but I feel that’s by virtue of our team system as a whole, CM, FB’s as well. If we can add a Bremer and/or Lenglet to the unit and let go of Tanganga and Rodon then it would look awesome.
