not really but to be fair you have said on a few occasions about two or three unrelated factors in regards to player A = player B which just is not logical or reasonable. Each player is exclusive based on his own mentality or physicality.

just don’t see any reason or logic to think that if player A is great or poor it ultimately means that player B will be the same.

Not unrealated. De ketelaere and gakpo are very young in weaker leagues that have had a good season or 2. They could be great, they could not be. If we get them, great. But lets not get over excited.

I'm the same the opposite way aswell. I won't assume a player is brick. Or overly criticise a player.

That’s why European performances can be factored in when judging a player
Typically that’s a higher level for them to be measured at

Is it though? If the likes of galatasaray were dropped in the prem, would they finish in the top half? Teams other than psg in the french league?

Tbh i don't know.

Play at those grounds and do well and you can demonstrate you can play
Dont forget these players are not in a team of top drawer players either

I aint got a clue. There are a few players i've seen i knew would do well. Henry playing on the wing for france, so wanted him. The juve bought him. Was in peru watching tevez for boca. But there are others i got so wrong. Really thought pritchard would be great for us. Will hughes from derby.

Not an exact science.

Henry failed in Italy don’t forget
And it’s not an exact science I agree
Clubs tend to have phases when they get it right and ones where they get it wrong
What tend to happen is whilst your on the upwards side as a club the new players come in and actually add to that..
But it can go down hill too
Prichard for me could have done well give a chance here. That may have lifted his game playing with a higher calibre of players

Yeah one season on the bench at juve. Still wish we got him.
 
Can't see us signing Gordon, nor would I want us to.

The fee which they'd wnat would be disproportionate to what he would add, and its not obvious to me where he would fit in in a Conte team. If he was at the club already then it could be worth trying him as a RWB, but signing someone in hte hope that they could change position would be a daft risk to take

He looks a player who could be versatile to me, and young enough to mould.

I'd be more than ok with those two, and perhaps we are flexing some muscle given the two clubs financial position?.

And perhaps some 'deadwood' can deduct a bit off the bill.

I’m sure conte and the team are smart enough to know what they are doing with a player before they go them.

it may be the case that they want winks and owe us money for dele…. We bang than enough cash to get them out of some trouble while taking two of their best players. Not with resale value too. Yes please and many thanks

Haha.. Winks and Dele for Richarlison and Gordon would be absolute daylight robbery.

Gordon has looked class every time I’ve seen him but reckon this is usual Sky Sports flim flam.

Would love for us to sign him, he'd be my first pick out of their squad. I think he has huge potential.
 
A double deal with Richarlison may also assist Everton with reducing any potential sell-on clause they would owe to Watford.
We arranged for a similar thing with Swansea a few years back IIRC
