anyone ending in 'ic' would be a good addition to the club.... subotic, vidic, billic all world class players and manager.

He bagged a brace last night and has outscored Adebayor this season. I've seen 'links' for less.
 
If Modric does go this summer, I think Mateo Kovacic might be able to replace him (but we'd have to get a bead on all the other top clubs that are watching him). A bunch of people on this forum have mentioned him already, but while we're on the Eastern European... the 'ic' hunt, so to speak, I figured I'd pull his name up again.
First off, we'd be all square when it came to having the 'ic' factor in our squad. He might be better suited for the VdV role, but I honestly think he can play in the center of midfield as well. Also looks like he's capable of scoring a few goals every now and then (is the 2nd youngest scorer in the Champions League).

David Moyes has realized the 'ic' factor as well and opted for Jelavic who's not turning out to be that shabby.

Mateo Kovacic is an AM, I thought? Personally I'd go for the less common 'elj' factor if we're looking for a Croatian replacement for Modric. How about Milan Badelj?

He was a hero for me in a spurs save on FM like three years ago.

I'm all for it. But only if he'll legally change his name to Badeljic.
