What a day for the Spammers! No doubt they’ll have West Ham TV cameras at the team hotel to see the players having breakfast, followed by helicopters tracking their journey to the ground. Special West Ham themed editions of Question of Sport and Mastermind to follow, before the players are shown inspecting the pitch in suits specially tailored for the day.

Ray Winston, Russell Brand and James Corden have recorded a song

This is easily the toughest of our remaining matches this season. Because this is a London derby, West Ham always think of themselves as our No.1 enemies and would normally lift their game against us. And they can claim to have caused us huge setback over the years. Who can forget the Lasagna Gate defeat which cost us the CL place in 2006 or the 2 league defeats which badly affected our title race in 2016 and 2017 or the 2 League Cup defeats in 2014 and last season ? West Ham don't need any invitation to cause us setbacks ! With us playing them at our new stadium for the first time ever, you can bet they will be even more fired up to beat us at home and affect our top 3 race ! It is up to us to take them seriously and lift our game to beat them in this match.

No doubt we will have our mind set on the CL semi final match against Ajax next week. But we cannot throw away this match by playing a weak them. If anything, we need to play all our best players to prepare for the Ajax match. We will need all our players to fully concentrate on this match. We need the likes of Son, Moura, Eriksen and Alli to make use of our goal scoring chances. We need to score in the first half and cannot wait until late in the match like against Brighton. The more the match go without us scoring, the more pressure it will be on us. Want us to try those long range shots more instead of always trying to dribble into goal. Wish Lamela will be fully fit to play in this match as his work rate and creativity will help us greatly.

Our options seems to be very limited in midfield due to injury problems. Wish Sissoko will be fit for this match. Without him, we need to rely on Wanyama and Dier to lead our midfield. Maybe Wanyama and Dier cannot play together as that will cause us to lack creativity in midfield. But that seems to be our only options now, unless we put Alli in midfield again.

Our defence have done well tp keep the clean sheet in all our matches at the new stadium so far. It will be disappointing if we don't keep the clean sheet in this match. West Ham won't make it easy. We need Lloris, Alderweireld and Vertonghen to be fully alert all the times. We need to avoid making those unnecessary back passes to Lloris which always put our goal in danger. We also need to avoid giving away freekicks near our goal.

We have done well to win all our matches at the new stadium so far. Hope we will continue our winning run in this match. We need to get an early goal to help us settle our nerves and then go for more goals to kill the game off. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to beat West Ham and stay in the top 3 race.

No. No team news yet.

Any team news yet ?

Can see this being another tense match for us. West Ham will do all they can to upset us. We need all the players to avoid getting complacent in this match. Let's hope we will put up a good performance and get a comfortable win to improve our chances to finish in top 3 this season.

Who’s that - front row in the middle between Winksy and the French lad from the hotel?

I’m feeling nervous today. It’s like facing your little brother in the knockout stages of the Pontins holiday kids pool comp. You know you should win and you usually do but he is doubly motivated and should the worst happen you’ll spend the rest of the holiday if not the year being reminded about it.

The only consolation would be to get your first finger action at the end of holiday disco and triumphantly declare this as the real prize, as you stuff your fingers under his nose (winning the champions league in this analogy)

I do fear we’ll have one eye on not getting injured, and the either on the Ajax game in general.

Would a point suffice? Yes, if we win the other two games. 3 would put us in a brilliant position to seal 4th - but I wouldn’t want it to affect our winning of this years champions league.

I hear Lamela is out and Kane is 50/50

I'm a bit concerned about today's game given our lack of midfield options, combined with them likely being up for it. That said, its often the games which you're least concerned about (eg Brighton at home) which cause the most stress and vice versa

A win today and we can almost forget about the league and focus on the CL; we'd certainly be able to rotate heavily against Bournemouth next weekend, perhaps even making 11 changes from the team which starts against Ajax (injuries permitting). Janssen would probably even start against Bournemouth

As always, an early goal would be massively settling. Really dont care about performance today - a 1-0 with a goal from a fluke, or refereeing mistake or whatever, along with no injuries from the game is enough for me
