*** TOTTENHAM Vs CHELSKI OFFICIAL OMT***

though when we brought on Saha we seemed to win just about every long ball hit by Friedel. looked dangerous this way as well

I think when they went 442 with Torres, we matched them and went 442 but it led to a much more open game (which we didn't particularly need)

I thought Saha was ineffective, but you're right we got more and more chances

More than anything 442 didn't suit Cheatski, they went to pieces IMO

Brilliant second half by us, especially the last 15 minutes. I was fuming when VDV went off, but fair play to Redknapp on that one. We looked so much more threatening in those last 15 minutes that it turned out to be the correct decision.

And Scotty Parker.....what a fudging performance from him! Absolutely outstanding!

Hopefully this result will give us our confidence back as well. We now know we are a better team than Chelski, we have played the toughest games (on paper), and should bounce back from this result. Its also good knowing we have been through a rough patch, and still are five points off fifth. Lets build on this and seal fourth!!

COYS!!!

And come on you Villa!!

Eh. Decent point, good performance. Harry's waffled on about how the performance didn't match the result in recent games, namely that good performances suffered bad results. I disagreed with him at the time, but today is a good example of that. Good performance, but decent result.

As a trifle, I thought Defoe should have come on instead of Saha, since his passing accuracy and pace could have helped us more than Saha's strength. But it's just a minor quibble.

55 points now. Five wins from our last eight games should see us in the CL.

While the result probably was fair, that has to be the single worst officiated match I've seen in years. The amount of ancle-sniping, shirt-pulling and diving the Chelsea players were allowed to do was astonishing, but errors were made both ways, so Atkinson ruined it for both teams.

The Chelsea players flagging their true colours as well, spear headed by one of the top 5 despicable players in the world, Ashley Cole. But one player stood out in a positive way, what they have done to the brain of Didier Drogba is nothing short of unbelievable. From being a total pr*ck and dirty cheating scum he has miraculously transformed into almost a gentleman player. Must be age, I guess.

Had we shown the commitment of the second half against Stoke, we would have trashed them. Adebayor showing what a conundrum he is, from the brilliant to the utterly hopeless. Well, we are at least over the so called difficult spell, we can now hope that AV can get something from Arsenal today.

Think Modric was great today,he created 4 clear cut chances for other players and made room for himself in such a crowded midfield area(altho it took him a while to realise what to do)
Adebayor also very good, great hold up play and headers

Second-half he wanted the ball, and yes, made an enormous difference. Ade knockers are doing so because he missed the chance which you'd have expected him to put away, but his performance today was superb...Livermore didn't miss a beat when he came on, really like the lad, and Saha was decent off the bench so Harry was justified there...

Honestly, the spurs who slate walker, ade and rafa... They embarrass me. Absolutely embarrass me. Clueless is an understatement.

Thought we were excellent and r most positive I've felt in long time. But how GHod awful are Chelsea, the had to win and they offered nothing. Awful display from them.

'Great performances' are all well and good but we failed to win today against a vastly inferior Chelsea side. The result wasn't good enough.

Simply a fantastic performance. Easily MOM for me.

By a long way. In the first half he was head and shoulders our best player and bailed both Ekotto and Kaboul out of the brick by covering a couple of awful mistakes by them. He never stopped running the whole game and the amount of last ditch tackles and blocks he put in was superb.

Good performance today, at least in the second half. Just a shame we didn't get the win we deserved from our chances. Taking our chances has been out problem all season really. But I am much more ppositive after this game.

It's a shame we didn't win with all the chances we had in the second half, just needed that little bit of extra luck that didn't come. I think we'll take encouragement from the performance though, we've stopped the losing run with a couple of draws, now hopefully we can kick on again and turn that into wins. If we can book a trip to Wembley on Tuesday night that'll be a lovely boost, and then we can finish the job against Chelsea and beat the bastards in the cup! COYS!

Very pleased with a point. 15 shots to 6 atStamford Bridge, sounds bizarre to say we are disappointed to have only drawn.
Would love to be level or only a point behind Arsenal at 5pm,but doubt it.

Still think the VDV goal v Stoke may be the latest turning point in our season. Play well again on Tuesday night and reach the Semis, I so no reason why we couldnt beat them on a neutral pitch, especially if they have a CL semi on their minds.

I'm a much happier Spurs fan than I have been for a while.
