Nothing in the article as to why.

The article also says : "It’s also believed that the league wants to avoid announcing any decisions during matches, with Chelsea and Emirates Marketing Project currently playing in the day’s early kick-off."

Why on earth should that matter? That could be the difference between someone getting on a plane or not.

So announcement after Emirates Marketing Project - Chelsea, but before the 3pm-games, you would assume.

What a shambles the PL is.

Common sense suggests that means it’s going on, but it’s the PL, sooooo
 
Looks like their U23s played Wet Spam at 19:00 yesterday evening - several hours after asking for a postponement of the bigger game.

What with loans out they have effectively contrived to get a postponement.
 
Only silver lining is if we have Romero, Dier, Son, Reggie and any signings back

The clams will probably contrive with the fa to get it played before Son returns in feb.
