Most importantly is the mid to back line looking solid overall, and players coming on from the bench looking hungry and understanding their roles

Skipp, just so consistent and important with his work rate and effectiveness, a key player
 
Not sure how or why conte kept Sanchez on
Big glad to see a player on the right who looked like he knew what he was doing when he came on in Doherty

Like I said after the Conference League pelters he got, Sanchez has been fine this season when not played out of position and happy to see him on the scoresheet today.

And Tanganga is not and will never be a wing back, he doesn’t have the attributes. Pleased Doherty showed something today. Conte needs to earn his money and work out how to rotate this squad, because with his high energy style it’s not sustainable using the same players with all the games we have coming up….

Sorry but Sanchez was woeful today
He really needs a LOT of work to play under Conte
He just doesn’t know what position to be in or how to deal with his men regularly
 
Shows how important the wing backs are in this system. We need players in those positions that actually carry an attacking threat.

As said before, you put Serge on that right hand side and he'd have goals and assists.

Tanganga didn't help him today. His positioning was terrible, half the time he looked like a 4th CB instead of a WB and made it harder for Sanchez positonally

Not sure how it makes his defending harder
I agree he was poor too though
The bit on 60 mins when Sanchez chased out on the right and go no where near their men who passes the ball around him was scary

Great to get the solid win. Not our best performance, but stuck to it and some phases of really good attacking play, that's good to see.

Thought Sessegnon looked on his way. Aggression, intensity, positive and confident on the ball instead of looking for the safe option. Very good to see.

Skipp will be class of he isn't akkurat. Davies looks great too. Moura really exciting.
