***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs WOOLWICH ARS*NAL OMT***

Sig has been our best player but he hasn't played 90 minutes in MONTHS. I can see Holtby coming on for him round about 76th minute?

Keep the pressure.............up................Spurs...........................

KEEP THE SINGING AND NOISE GOING>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Super Tottenham.....

must be carefull this half..... keep that pressure up..

This BBC comantator on BBC radio.... has not said one single word about us...

is this guy really a commantator.....unbelievably biased........................

I'd stick another central midfielder (Holtby or Carroll) on for Adebayor in an attempt to control the game.
Mainly get Verts and Dawson to play a little deeper, they only danger it their through balls.

ade did his part for both goals staying high and moving towards the play to fool the defence.

This always happens when Arsenal lose a game though. They DOMINATE possession, but rarely trouble the keeper. I can remember one Lloris save and that was early on from Girouds header which he caught.

So..

We have NOT lost when leading by exactly 2 goals at half time at WHL.
We have NOT lost when Lennon has scored.
We have NOT lost when Dawson has started this season.

Being Spurs this can only mean one thing ....

They were much the better team. But their defense are asleep! Bale then Lennon just walk through! Put them under pressure and they'll crack as we predicted in this thread.

We were being outplayed. They can pass their way out of tight situations better than we can. But we're stronger than them and have so many players who can carry the ball so well.

Lets hope they don't over analyse it in the dressing room, and come out playing their natural game as we were at the end of the 1st.

We have never lost a Premier League match at White Hart Lane when leading by two goals at half-time and we have never lost a game when Aaron Lennon has scored.

Hmmm a certain game against a small club from the north west of England where led 3-0 at ht

i will never forget these stats if we win today. ta!

This was the team when we were 3 up at half time vs united :-

Tottenham: Sullivan, Richards, King, Perry, Taricco, Ziege, Freund, Anderton, Poyet, Ferdinand, Sheringham. Subs: Keller, Rebrov, Thelwell, Davies, Etherington.

This new spurs lot give me far more confidence...
And the level / different between the two opponents as well

We all know spurs teams in the past have had the ability to fook up but let's have some faith. They are looking for the 1-2's on the edge around the corner. Full backs need to stay in tight, they have to carry on playing high up the pitch to get back in the game. So our pace can damage them.

Ade not doing too much. Hoping Defoe on at some point to exploit that space.

Credit to the CBs , they have blocked not much but some crossing from Arsenal right.

i believe its all part of AVB's plan. arsenal play a similar high line pressing game but with their CBs more further apart than ours, and with their DM higher poised to counter. watch how Ade avoids making the through ball run by staying high/static for both goals. there was a another attempt from parker towards the end, exactly the same "play" which nearly got bale through again.
