***Tottenham Hotspur vs West Brom*** Official Match Thread

What's frustrating is watching other teams add to their striking options over the last few seasons, while we still struggle. How did Sturridge end up at Liverpool, look at Saudi Sportswashing Machine's strike force recently. Even Arsenal have tried to bolster their attacking line up.

What premiership team has 2 strikers in their squad? i mean nobody would allow that except us. We're so fudging thick that even when 1 striker goes to African nations duty and the other carries an injury we still don't act..we just get AVB telling us week after week how covered we are up top.

Say what you want about Redknapp but there's no way at all this would have gone down if he was manager. Levy probably tried the same brick with him but eventually we got Saha (ok not great but it was that or nothing). He probably persevered into the last minute of the window banging on Levy's door. AVB on the other hand seems like he gets told the same thing and simply replies "ok levy"...no fight...just "yes ok Levy". Then he runs out and informs us how covered we are, how fine we are, thinking we're macarons.

Yet again, as with soooooo many times this season the only way we look like getting a goal is through a split second of brilliance by Bale or some lucky deflected effort.

Its been the same thing game after game, week after week, month after month this season. Regardless of results our peformances have been utter brick for 80% of this season.

This is unfortunately true. Our league position does not reflect our performances.

Mate, if you're relying on Adebayor to inject belief, dynamism and goals into this side, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

I'm not relying on him to inject belief and dynamism but goals, yes I am. He's a CF and whilst he's not prolific, he's the best we've got and is a decent CF. He's also able to hold the ball up and bring others into play. WHilst he's been brick this season, form has to improve at some point and maybe the international spell would have perked him up a bit

Whats wrong with Adebayor? Even if Togo make the final he'll only miss the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game

If Defoe is going to be out for a few games then you'd hope we would at least have one for the bench.

Just realised we didn't when Ade first went off to the ACN so move along, nothing to see here :(

Kane was 5th choice forward for Norwich, he's 4th choice for us. Says it all.
