We've been caught offside fewer times than any other PL team this season. It just shows how few through balls we play. Soldado used to get bags of goals from those short agnled balls at Valencia

Just get one who can stop the ball from going in the net every single time? Even when its off target?

This is professional football club, not a comedy show... So lets get a professional who can moves, make saves, and get the ball in the air.

Don't disagree with you. - providing it is players genuinely trying to beat the trap, not just stupidly standing or starting offside like is the way with Ade And Defoe more often than not.
 
Anzhi with a 94th minute winner means the group win isn't settled tonight, but we are through to the next round.

Agree - there must be decent keepers out there. Look at some keepers who have been signed by PL teams in the last couple years for reasonable fees - Vorm, Mignolet, Stekelenberg, Lindergaard. Baldo will be able to find someone
 
Well done, 1882-movement! Wow, can't remember the last time I heard that much singing from the stands! Needs to be a regular feature, that. Happy with the win and Lamela getting his goal, and a great performance. He was the difference for us today. Other than that, it's the same old story of using far too much time on the ball and not moving quickly enough. I just can't believe AVB refuses to do something about it. We're relying on a single player's brilliance yet again (as with Bale for most of last season).

But, by all means, happy we're through, and happy for Lamela, and some great singing today! ;)

Lots of us were saying over the summer that we needed a CM playmaker. We signed two CMs, yet neither was a playmaker
