bloody hell, it really is 3-0, only Spurs are capable of going there and performing like that against this lot, even Villa would put up some kind of fight
 
Gonna get my rant in now, I'm not gonna watch the second half.

Fellaini: It was bloody obvious after the first two times it happened that Fellaini was working that channel. Walker was having to challenge him in the air and the flick on was then worked to Young every time. Walker was being left 1v2. If I a simple football fan picked up on it so early, why did nothing change? Mason had to be the man to deal with him, a complete mismatch, but other than him it would be Dier who would be leaving Jan 1v1 with Rooney.

Mason and Bentaleb: These two have been pulled all over the place. The first goal highlighted our lack of protection from the front with Chadli losing Carrick and Mason having to step out of position. I'm not convinced that the defensive shape Poch has us in is that good, but it works when the pressing from the front comes off. When we get teams that can deal with the press, we look fragile.

Chadli and Townsend: Both have been as brick as eachother. Townsend has been completely dominated by Blind and Chadli has looked like the bloke who turned up at Wembley at the start of the month. Either one of them could've been taken off for Dembele, but neither of them should have any issue with it.

We are so young: You can see that the lads went out there and tinkled themselves. All of them look scared brickless and need someone to take a hold of things. It's not happening.

Do you think Vertonghen cares? He's done his job and its not his fault he has to put up with being in this team for the time being.
 
And another thing, the fall from grace Fazio's had has been inexplicable. We could have used him today: his experience and skill in the air would have been very handy when dealing with Fellaini and calming Walker down. Dier's young, and was always liable to be bullied by United if the team as a whole lost their brick, which is exactly what happened. Baffling.

We struggle against teams with 3 in midfield again and again.
 
I'd rather we have Chiriches at RB and play deeper. Walker relies on pace rather than brains, when he gets no support from RM and is outpaced or equal paced then he struggles.
He should be talking to players around him and sorting out marking before they score not arguing about it afterwards. Chiriches hasn't got any pace to begin with and relies on positioning, I think he would have been a better choice in this game.

Having said that there are holes all over the pitch. We've not made any chances, and have defended terribly. Which when you look at our goal difference is pretty much the story of the season so far. Where is the chat between players -the defenders should be talking all the time to each other and the players in front of them - very poor organisation.

We owe them a 5-3. I would love it to be today, but sadly I cant see us scoring 1 never mind 5 and I cant see us not conceding again.

Agreed. This is, sadly, a realistic wake up call to how bad we have been under Poch "without" those cracks being papered over.
