How is it that United always get every possible break against us, game after game after game? The last time things went our way against them was the 4-1 home win over a decade ago when Fergie gambled with an unfit Schmeichel jn goal. Since then we've had averything go against us. The Mendes goal that wasn't. The Nani goal that should have been disallowed. numerous penalties that should have been given that weren't or were given that should have been.

Now we have a goal disallowed having dominated the entire first half then they score from a corner at the killer time just before the break. If that wasn't enough we continue to dominate second half, go close a couple of times but they're the ones who end up scoring from two attacks.

Unbelievable, fudging unbelievable.
 
It's that brick player Defoe again, eh?

Image what could have been if he played ahead of that clueless french crock the last 2 games. . .
 
I would rather bet my house on aliens kidnapping Obama next weekend than on us ever beating United. This is just getting ridiculous.

Next game is massive for us, its absolutely crucial that we bounce back with a win.

Its all about third place now.

That's to all the thick people on this board that slag Defoe off and praise absolute cack like kranjcar and pure average like Dawson. Defoe never has a game for us and scores so often. And Saha who has barely played for ages gets in ahead of him... Shame on you redknapp
 
Can't believe they are suggesting Rio might be MOM - thought he was overly cautious/nervous and quite poor
 
Well taken goal by Defoe. Perhaps we should have put him on at half time as many suggested, but it just shows how dependant we are on individual creativity rather than set formations.

Even if history strongly suggests otherwise, we would not have lost today with Bale on the pitch. (wishful thinking)

Poor mentality. Especially against Man utd. 22 games without beating them, 17 losses in that period. Let's stop looking at refs, who've influenced just a small handful of those games and look at ourselves and how we continuously approach the games against this team.
