Lennon is an important player but the world will continue if he misses a couple of games. You want your best players but blimey, its like the guy is going to be worth 2 or 3 goals by himself.

I don't deny he's important but we can't crumble every time we have an injury! If missing Lennon means our chances reduce by around 55% means something is very wrong. We have talented players who can come in and do a job.

I suppose thats where lack of "like-for-like" replacements come in. If we had a pacy right sided player who could come in for the game, get told to track up and down all game, we wouldn't be perfect but it'd be more than a replacement. With someone, we have to change our style completely. Nothing wrong with that however.

I agree totally. Its been an issue for seasons that hasn't been addressed. At least now we have better replacements - before when Lennon was out we'd bring in someone like Kranjcar. Good player and all that but we're much better off with the likes of Siggy and Holtby.
But it is a bit of a wonder, how a team so built on speed doesn't have like for like replacements for its main attacking components.

doesnt destroy them but it hacks off a big liklehood to play our game which so far has been pretty good
if bale wings it then i think we can adapt no problem. if bale is in the middle then we will have to switch up our style
