probably because he's one of the fittest players on the pitch and the game was still in the balance and he has this tendency to pop up with late winners

I didn't see that as I'd tuned over, but I did something similar to my ankle a while ago (it made a really horrible noise too). I was out for about three or so weeks. But no break fortunately, or cast, or operation. Bale's did look nasty though.

Too right. Absolutely zero atmosphere from our fans tonight but it goes both ways to be fair, there was very little to sing about and what bits were sung seemed to have no effect on the players.
 
ive had the exact same thing happen to me in both ankles. left ankle was a hairline fracture was was out for 3-4 months, right ankle was BADLY sprained and was out for 3-4 weeks
 
fortitude you fudgers !!!! if your all giving up now then fudge it ... we can still put 11 on the pitch and we can still win games .. sure we are playing brick .. sure we have our most influential players out .. but we are still in it .. we can still fight we can fudge this all up sure .. but perhaps we can all pull together colectively as tottenham hotspur... fans players staff and have the belief that brick these are brick cards but i can still play em .. its a funny old game lets see where we are in 6 weeks and then have our say till then get behind the team manager and staff .. its ours to lose
