Big player for them, but I am very relieved Bolasie is away, he gave both our full-backs a tough time last month. Those two missing could swing it in our favour, but do not underestimate the boost they could get from it being Pardew's first home game, always worries me.

Very surprised at Ekotto being mentioned, but..if he has been training with the team and shown a desire to regain his place then fair enough

Since the transfer window is open it is now possible for us to register him to play. Is that actually going to happen? NO
 
i notice he is included in the first team defenders on the official site now. Not sure if he was before, but it is a non-standard picture maybe suggesting it was added at a different time to the others. But maybe it is just a prelude to him moving on. When he was a regular he was a good LB for us.
 
Just popped in to say there's a 'sneak peak' picture of the dressing room on facebook. Players 15, 5 and 7 have their kits hanging up so will be in the squad?

Where are people getting team news from? ITK? Usually the team isn't announced until an hour before kick-off?
