*** Tottenham Hotspur vs clams***

Well Nuno got well and truly shown up again. Really made the wrong changes too late. They have 2 defenders and a defensive midfielder score and we don`t look like we will score as long as Kane and Son are kept quiet. To really challenge the top 4 you need goals from all over the pitch. What season was it we had 4 players with over 15 goals each and players like Jan and Toby weighing in with a few not to mention others. So far we`ve got 1 goal from open play, and I thought it was bad under Mourhino

Seeing Tanguy that second half drift away from the ball and daft wide was odd
Was that him saying he was injured to the bench or was that him hiding again like we have seen before
Kante changed the game but that’s where Tanguy should come into his own

Anyone surprised by this?

It's been like watching the Hindenburg crash into the Titanic since we sold Mousa Dembele, even when we've won. Chelsa have been far better than most since Tuchel took over and have bags of cash to back them. Even if we had money behind us Levy would still do a puppy like scream when players of real quality state their demands.

This is a very long and hard road we are on and I'm struggling to see how things could improve. This may come across as 'another knee jerk reaction' but our form since thumping Dortmund on the way to Madrid has been inconsistent and abysmal at times, leaving many with little hope. Today had a real feel of when Bill Nich died, an absolute legend gone, along with the team's ability to win on the day (we lost at home to Bolton that day) and a painful rebuild having started.

To be fair he was calling for the ball when I was watching him and was getting frustrated at us dingdonging about with ir over on the left.

I don't think poch was that good. Look at dele winks Dier now. They did not develop well..... Maybe poch got lucky. Well he isn't exactly convincing with the best strike force in the world so far
Chelsea are simply a far better-run club than we are ,with a far more ambitious owner far more determined to build a winning team than ours is.

Here is the result. 3-0 down, to a team better than us in every single position, with a second 11 that could kill our first team, and a world-class manager against...well, Nuno, a mid-table specialist. I don't blame NES - again, he's just out of his depth, and it's not on him, but on us for hiring the cheapest possible option. And what could he change? Chelsea could bring on N'Golo Kante and Timo Werner - we could bring on Oliver Skipp and Bryan Gil. Nothing he could do, really.

We were only ever close to them when we had the best coach we've had in 50 years in Mauricio Pochettino to make the absolute most of the scraps he was thrown. Those moments we beat them in the past decade are because of him, and him alone. Since he's left, we've seen what the actual state of the two clubs is - and sadly, the c*nts are just...better run, better managed, better-built on every single level.

It's easier to take our gradual decline if you give up the expectations we had under Poch - it helps me. I don't expect anything. A gentle, gradual decline to the mean, with good moments here and there amidst the general disappointment. It helps, and it keeps me level-headed, zen and relatively stress-free. :)

Nothing will change until ENIC leave, because we aren't lucking out on a wonder-coach again for a long time. Whether that's a year, five years, ten - when Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis leave, we can dream again. That's the hope that keeps me going - one day, we can dream.

Here's to that day -for now, just treat the good times as pleasant surprises, and try to forget days like this. Here's to next week - my only hope is we don't ship 3 again.

You watching on tv or at the ground?
I was at the ground so didn’t get the close ups
Looked to me like he didn’t wanna be there once saw kante

Souness (yea, yeah iknow) makes a good point, first half dier was screaming at the defence, second half not a peep from anyone.

He played well in the first half. Second half when we didn't have the ball what did you really expect from him?

Way, way more effort should be a minimum.
If we had just signed a new striker and he looked as disinterested everyone would be going crazy.

Ground, in the South.

Would be strange cause he had Kante on toast at the bridge. Never seen anyone do that to Kante before.

No one in that team is offering goals
It’s quite grim TBH
