We were doing well, but when Walker went down (how often does that seem to happen by the way?), we lost a bit of cohesiveness, and it cost us on the free-kick. Not too bad (ignoring the terrible human being who scored the goal), but we should have had Fazio on from the start: he wouldn't have put up with Costa's flimflam, and he's been in high-pressure finals before, unlike Dier.

Still, 45 minutes to go, all to play for. COME. ON. YOU. FUDGING. SPURS!

Not a bad half. Played ok without really threatening. The only chance was Eriksens early free kick. Chadli, Walker and Townsend all poor.
I said we needed to be careful not to give away too many cheap free kicks and we paid the price from one of them. Lloris saved us shortly afterwards.
We are still in the game but the next goal is key.
