I'm pretty happy with the side. I would probably have started Lennon ahead of Paulinho with Kane moving centrally but no major arguments.

Same here.

I was impressed to read earlier that Bentaleb was the player at the press conference. That is a lot of trust in a 19 year old player, maybe Steff is right about him being a future captain.

Kane played on the left a lot for the development squad. Hopefully, he can do a similar job there that Chadli has been doing for the first team.

Paulinho's best position is serving chips at Chick King, no way should he be in the team based on his last 48 "performances".

I hope he proves me wrong and breaks into a sprint today, before tackling someone and scoring a brace.
 
I quite like Kane on the left, if that is where he will play. Paulinho and Townsend again, though. I think we once again will struggle to create chances with this team. Not much creativity in the team.
 
Decent side. Only one Invisiblinho in the side. Hope Townsend slots a couple and silences his detractors .
 
Funny how times change. This time last year, almost everyone on here wanted Kane to either leave or play on the left (as he looked good there when coming off the bench) - he looks good there. I would rather he played off Soldado but he is good on the left.
 
Players disappointed not starting in the epl need to put in a performance tonight......that goes to you Townsend!
