That type of manager, with time, might make a difference. We have to hope conte is motivated to make this club competitive.

My worry after the last 2 games is that he is going to absolve himself of getting the best out of the group that he has and will just say we need signings before we can expect him to improve the results - worrying that he keeps playing a central 2, it doesn't work, we need to be playing 352.

I don't like to dump on players just after a loss. But I'm losing faith in Hugo lately. We give away way to many sloppy goals making it hard for ourself. But to be honest we are not playing well.

Three defeats in a row in the league. But it's more that we look very uncohesive as a side. No real pattern of play. We always look out numbered all over the pitch. It's hard to watch lately.

That's what I kept noticing last 2 games, the amount of time and space the opposition had.
Edit. Wish the manager and players had noticed too.

Spot on. Unless his cunning plan is to show how rubbish the squad is so he can get upgrades (hahaha, not going to happens with our bargain basement buys) in the summer.

That’s good of you to be so understanding for Conte, yet you was one of those going so hard in on Jose who was faced with the exact same problem.

We was told that Jose should be making more out of what he’s got, and that if he was a top level manager then he would change his system to suit the current playing staff.

Well in that case same applies to Conte, his insistence on two in midfield amongst other things is ridiculous when they aren’t that good and to just say yeah well the manager needs more windows to invest - you could say the same about any coach….

Could almost think it's deliberately slow and ponderous. Wolves had constant one touch movements out of their own half. Players aware of where to be and where to pass to. Sanchez looks like he's playing with a long-term concussion. Not showing any awareness of the time and space he has to play a ball or who's available to pass to should he ever make a decision to control and play a ball.

Conte 100% should be getting more out of the players than has been shown in the last 2 games
