We have too many average players and not enough first on the team sheet players. This means managers chop and change trying to get the right setup. It started with Poch trying to get the midfield right, chopping and changing. Now we have also have question marks across the defense too.

The lack of grounded settled players in midfield and defense is an issue.

Many other teams have bang average players - soton and wolves, for example - but play as a team and don’t make Sunday league mistakes.

Out of the starting 11 only Romero, Bentancur, Lloris, Kane and Son were really top 4 standard players

The problem is that most of the others are bottom half or bottom 6 standard players
