Started slow , Not impressed with the defending for the goal .

Other than that it’s been ok.

They are covering Kane and son with their 3 at the back. It's giving space to our wing backs and outside centre backs.

I think Langlet coming in makes sense. And maybe Moura for Royal if they keep getting pushed back.

Started very poorly, but adjusted and got better and better throughout the first half. Should be another goal in front, but hopefully we can continue to outplay them in the 2nd half, and add a few goals.
Well taken goal by Sessegnon, and nice to have Dier back on the score sheet for the first time since 2019!

Thought that prior to his goal Sess was just generally looking quite assured in what he was doing. Looks physically bigger too - A full Pre season around characters like Conte and Perisic has some him well.

Yeah, his timing as been off today, a few times he’s been ahead/behind of where he should be.

Bentancur has been really good. Like the variance in our attacking and looks like Conte will have worked on our crossing and runs for them.

Kane needs to drop deeper in games like this. He won't get a goal and crowds the defence making it harder for the rest.

Thought we were decent even if there's a bit of an early season feel to it. Good character to come back and some of the players are digging each other out. Dier had a proper go at PEH and Kane had a pop at Son.

Thought Emerson and Bentancur were the pick of the bunch so far.
