Last year we had Son with a point to prove, this year they are all settle and comfortable in the squad, needed someone to challenge them

I don't think Alli has had much space, but he hasn't been anywhere near his best. Poch's Spurs has always been built on a defensive foundation. Not having a solid defence and holding midfield affects the space made for Alli.
