was never in a channel for a pass though, he did well to move the defence but the pass was never on

Royal was a bit poor wasn't he. Perhaps not fully fit? Or is it just tactical? Kind of like it as a tactical sub.

I think he just isn’t great with the ball
I think he is a very decent right back
Wings backs have a lot more ball and also need to use it well
My other issue with royal is…. Moura loves to go his way and pass to him which slows everything down
