What constitutes "clear and obvious" then? He's on the line, so he's clearly not definitely offside. Hence, it's a clear and obvious error. But again with VAR and the stupidly written rules, it comes down to semantics.
How can they tell when the ball is released from that angle?
Come on Spurs if they keep running as they have... there'll be knackered.
Presumably they can rotate the view so that they freeze it when the ball leaves Dele's foot, or something like that

If there’s one player that annoys me it’s Eric flipping Dier. He can’t help but make at least one brain fart EVERY game. Even against Sheffield Utd he passed the ball to one of their players in a dangerous area but thankfully wasn’t costly. He simply is not good enough.....
They don’tBe nice to see out of they can then.
I’m still not convinced the cameras have a high enough frame rate or whatever it’s called to accurately show the millisecond the ball leaves the foot.
They have to change to if any part of the legally ball-playing part of the body is on then you’re onside.

Hard gaining control when we have our sides been exposed constantlyFor the most part Leeds are throwing crosses in and we're just dealing with them in an ugly fashion - goals were sloppy.
Need to move things around a bit second half to gain control of the middle of the pitch, plenty of gaps for our forwards to exploit - still in it, unlucky to be behind
Dier woeful yet again, and Reggie cannot defend for brick
Awesome call by the Cabin Nonce on the offside too, woeful guess as that's all it is
There should be a margin of error as it's not 100% accurate, benefit on the forwards sideBe nice to see out of they can then.

I meant more in terms of how annoyed I am at it being chalked off.I don’t think the “clear and obvious” thing applies to goals; they get checked as a matter of course.
Clear and obvious errors refer to missed / mistakenly applied red cards for example.
