But have we ever had true "form" this season at all ? Bar Bale's brilliance and the occasional others chipping in now and again, we have mostly played brick many more times then we have played well this season.

I got slated time and time again here for being negative after a win. How many times in recent months have people come on here and said "fudge the peformance, all i care about is the 3 points". Burying their head in the sand and only living in the moment.

Well, my friends, there is a reason I cared about the peformances because THIS was always going to fudgein happen. It was just a case of when ! Hopefully now these blinkered fans will see that I was always looking at the bigger picture instead of being deluded. Mayby, just mayby, now so will they. I doubt it though.
 
Throughout the game I just wondered how aimlessly kicking the ball in to the box against a team that puts 11 men in the box is gonna do anything.

This performance is far worse than the typical performances this season, Wigan at home aside.
 
On the bright side, can't see many of our players getting much international duty. The rest will do us good and we'll bounce back. So there.
 
What a shocking performance this has been. A little bit of positivity from Carroll, apart from that everyone should hang their heads in shame.

The season ends in May.
It always did.
It didn't end when we beat the filth and it didn't end today.
Talk about bottle jobs...now's the time to hold your mettle and be brave.
Hope the manager and squad don't think like you.
 
Strange feeling watching this game. Normally I'm a nervous wreck but from about the 17th minute today, I knew we were going to lose. Just sat watching the game completely emotionless.

It will be another bottle-job this season in the league, we know it will be. I just hope we can do something in the Uefa Cup.

I'm up for a trip to Amsterdam to be honest.
 
Not that it should take anything away from our abysmal performance, but how the hell did the Fulham players get away with all their time wasting? They wasted a minute and a half of extra time on one substitution, yet the ref blew the whistle after four extra minutes. And don't get me started on the throw ins, including kicks and free kicks. There should have been numerous yellows.
