I think that a clean slate is probably more attractive to potential sponsors

It would be visible from the air, for people flying into London and for aerial promotional shots, etc.

I don't really see the point (apart from money, if any). We know who we are and that it is our stadium. We don't need a large label on it to remind us.

As a sponsor, I would not pay much for such very limited exposure, and seeing it from the club, why bother for so little money (not that I know what they could get, but I expect it to be peanuts) . And as you say, there is no need for a club logo.

I don't think that it is worth much on its own but might help get a higher fee as part of a package. It would certainly be attractive to use in promotional material and publicity around the deal.
