Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

After spending all day yesterday unsuccessfully trying to place a raker beam in the West stand they've now taken down the scaffolding in that area. Looks like they might be redoing a column or two.

It's officially a cover up:

Archway moved out late september 2015, and the bulidings were demolished between the 1st and 5th of October. The club shut down the camera feed during that period, probably to avoid any fuzz about it.

Ah missed it. I would probably one of them to add to the fuzz.
Good riddance to them. They must have had some beef with us or something more enticing to have behaved the way they did.
if they asked nicely to be fed projects as part of the community project, i doubt dear old levy would reject.

I'm in London at the weekend, well Elstree. Every year I'm down for Halloween weekend and hope to squeeze a game in but because it's always been an away game or a Saturday game I can't get to it.
Anyway, if I toddle along to The Lane on Thursday night for a look around will I see much? Last time I was there for a game, about 18 months ago there wasn't much to see.

ha ha, off to see strictly are we...

No, never watch it.
There's a group of us meet up every year at Halloween for a dennis Wheatley convention at a hotel in Elstree.
The hotel was used in loads of films, including the devil rides out:)
That film scared the fudge out of me when I was a kid.

mate, I lived about 500m from that hotel from 1999 to 2005 before I moved over here to Oz. Lived opposite Kiss Kiss restaurant (used to be The East). If you go to The Eastern Brasserie for a curry have the Prawn Pathia for me !! (ask the waiter if he remembers Mr Paul from down the road)

Probably hammers best film.
Anyone interested in the film should check out our groups website. Just Google dennis Wheatley it's the first one up usually.
Back to topic.
Is it worth a trip to The Lane at night?

Why do waiters in Indian restaurants prefix your christian name with Mr. It happens in virtually all the restaurants I've used regularly?

Blimey I'll never be allowed in, I never wear a suit to go to a match, don't own a "Norman Wisdom jacket" or brown shoes. Haven't stood with my hands in my pockets since I was a kid! Will they check your credit rating before letting you in?

Agree, its very odd! And I'm sure there are things which go on in the tunnel which the club wouldn't want others to see. What if there is a brawl?!?

That's why they're paying big bucks for those seats. This is an NFL thing that it looks like we're adopting for ourselves as well.

Imagine standing in the West Tunnel Club with the glass of champagne, while players pass by, staring at you. They even won't be able to ask you for an autograph because of the glass wall!
