There are more and more interesting places to eat around Tottenham. Lots of latin inspired places, some rare cuisine like Mauritian etc but in quite iffy looking places. You have to know and not be put off by the facade.
Defo potential to get these local businesses involved if they can scale up for an "NFL fiesta street party" etc.

To be honest, I've not ventured north to try them. With a little one and no games, I havn't been in Tottenham.
Le Chamarel was recomended to me by a Mauratian. Fascinating cuisine as it's a mix of Asian and African (a trading stop between the two - a unique fusion). Defo want to try it.
Uncle Johns Bakery is interesting.
Pueblito Paisa was also suggested - rice, beans, meat, huge portions kind of thing. No idea if its any good, worth sniffing it out and if lots of Latin American people are eating there, you know it's half-decent at least.

He has also very discreetly bought all that property off the club at knock down rates, once they do all the building work it will be worth a fortune. He could have left the land with the club and developed it via them.

I don't know all the details, just info that was posted on here I think. Either Spurs bought lots of property and sat on it and then sold it on once this project was further along and planning permission was a certainty or they bought it themselves knowing that the project would lead to planning permission instead of letting the club own it all and making money from it (like Arsenal did). I'm sure someone here will have more details.

The club owns the land you refer too and has changed the title to the clubs property development side
It will get developed and make the share in the club worth more than it is currently
You can’t just sell stuff like land for less than it’s value to yourself (I wish my property dev bus could do that) although values do change Over time
Land with and without planning permission has vastly different values, my understanding is that planning permission was applied for after the transfer of the land had been made to the new company.
