I’m pleased to see the word ‘winning’ in that sentence, previously it has always been just ‘challenging for’ I think.
Yes that was my main take from it as well

Skipp and Tanganga have made the step up in the last couple of seasons. Others have had the odd game before going out on loan e.g. Parrott and Scarlett.I'm not so sure about the comment of there being a clear pathway from the academy to the first team - that no longer seems to be the case, but could equally be due to it being so much harder to break through into a CL-level team rather than a mid-table one.
That is addressed in the replies:One thing that I hope the chairman understands is that the main reason we had some poor recruitment is because we had a poor, cheap recruitment team.
Is this in reference to wages or transfers?

Still seems to be a path if the player is good enough.
Roman, wasn't until heavy pressure that he came out with "ohh I don't want my money back" despite a push by his legal to get his 1.7bn back via Camberley Investments or whoever the other company was that was due to take the money that his other shell company put in.Who was that?

Would be better if they learned the delete buttonOh - and can someone at the Trust please learn the Ctrl J command.
Yeah. I think he might have realised that and then done something about it. Tick. One thing that I hope the chairman understands is that the main reason we had some poor recruitment is because we had a poor, cheap recruitment team.
I think that is turning the corner as we pick up talents from other academies. Like the Chelsea kid and Lankshear.Yes, that's fair.
At the same time it does feel that we have more players that are deemed as very promising by those who follow the academy choosing to move on rather than commit than we used to. But maybe it just gets highlighted more nowadays.
Good responses from the club. But, did we really learn anything? Pointless ego-building exercise from the Trust.

With the previous friction between the Trust and club they had a chance of a reset with the changing of the guard when Kat and Martin (and probably others) stepped down to make way for fresh blood and impetus.Even worse, they have continued to burn whatever capital they have with the pseudo threats and flimflam statements about concerns about the clubs situation.
This is not how you build any kind of long term working relationship.

I can't quite believe the start they've made. To align themselves with the ENICout group and serve as a mouthpiece for them is misguided at best. To ask the questions they did (most of which have already been answered) and then reinforce the urgency by misrepresenting the manager is schoolboy stuff.
