They're opening the stadium for the final.

Just a side note on the stadium screening. I wonder whether the club will be discussing options about putting the stadium into "concert mode" and having one enormous screen at one end of pitch??

Giving it some thought, and from a fans perspective it would create a far better atmosphere if they could allow some standing tickets on the pitch (covered of course), to account for the loss of seats around the back / sides of any stage presence. It's end of season so not too much danger of turf being ruined. Though I can see many fans wanting to pull up the covers and grab a piece of the pitch to take home!

Alternatively, they just stick with the 4 big corner screens, though I do wonder how that will effect atmosphere when you have some looking ahead to other corner, some turned around to watch nearer one behind them. Some needing to sit for perhaps age or medical grounds etc. Imagine being in a pub but the guy directly in front of you has turned round to look at a screen over back of your head. You're then face-to-face for 90+mins. Weird!!!

Hologram technology. Project the players onto our pitch.

If they did that surely they would rollback the pitch and put down covers on the astroturf?

Reckon the stadium viewing will go to capacity? Thinking whether to be safe and grab my ST if they sell them like a normal game or hold out so friends can sit with each other.

I think they will do it in batches

Say 20k first and see how it sells.

Intending on heading down to the lane with my Nephew (21) and my two sons (20 and 18). If we win - it’s gonna get messy!!!!

Edit....Drinks to your seats a goer :)

Yep, just got that too.

Sincerely hoping there aren't a load of STH buying their seats given the price, then either selling on or not using it as they opt for Madrid trip instead. Think this is going to be a tough one to get a seat for.

Also seems a shame that they're not opening the stadium until 6pm! Missed a trick there surely? And closing at 10.30/11pm regardless of the result...even if we win!?!? That High Road is going to be heaving with people raiding the off licenses and clambering to go on to other bars!!

Surely any ST going to Madrid should be deactivated for the Lane showing?

EVENT INFORMATION

We shall be opening all areas of the stadium at 6pm – two hours ahead of the 8pm (UK time) kick-off in Madrid.

All bars and food outlets will also open at this time – unlike on a matchday, the Club has obtained a licence for fans to take alcohol into their seats.

However, we should like to remind fans that this will be a family event for supporters of all ages to enjoy a momentous occasion in the Club’s history – we ask that you please modify your alcohol consumption and behaviour, being mindful of those around you at all times.

Our usual matchday security procedures and bag policy will be in place for this event. We encourage fans to arrive as early as possible, and strongly advise against arriving any later than 7.30pm, to leave enough time to clear security and avoid busy transport times.

During the event, fans will be treated to BT Sport’s live coverage of the Final, including all the build-up, post-match reaction and trophy presentation, via our giant HD screens and televisions located throughout the concourses and Premium areas.

Fans will be able to purchase a copy of the official UEFA Champions League Final matchday programme for a price of £10 throughout the stadium and at the Spurs Shop at the Tottenham Experience.

Bars and food outlets will close at 10.30pm, with last orders at 10.15pm, ahead of the stadium closing at 11pm. Should the match go to extra-time and penalties, we shall look to extend the opening hours of the stadium and continue to serve food and soft drinks. However, we shall stop serving alcohol at 10.30pm in any event.

No extra screens either. If you're more than half way up the South Stand the North stand screens are partly obscured by roof bits and speakers etc.

That's crazy !!!
