Playing age group football should help get you ready for senior football. You need to be ready for the 1st team when called upon. Practicing celebrations shows his commitment to be ready if called upon!!!

Ipswich fans liked him when he was on loan too. I hope he makes it. I like seeing the US improve.

As an aside, Do you remember when Caulker impressed on all his loans and (I think) got player of the year in League 2, League 1 and the Championship. You couldn't have asked for more impressive loans but then never made it (for multiple reasons). Now in Turkey somewhere. Loans really are weird aren't they?
 
With young players I don’t think it really matters about how well you have done in loans. Obviously these will help get you ready for 1st team football. A certain amount of luck is needed as well in my opinion. Being in the right place at the right time. Getting a chance when there have been injuries or similar. At the end of the day you trying to take some else’s shirt.
Also sometimes a manager just doesn’t fancy you in there system doesn’t make you a bad player. Completely different level I know but you see it in non league all the time. There’s a lad at Portsmouth called Jamal Lowe. He was at Hemel Hempstead manager there didn’t fancy him let him go to my local team Hampton & Richmond and the manager believed in him and 14 months later he was sold to Portsmouth now he’s scored 15 goals and numerous assists from right wing for them this season. As they say it’s a game of opinions.

It does seem to help if they actually get to play football a bit though.

Didnt realise he was only 21, thought he was a few years older than that.

Funny you mention Caulker, this lad really reminds me of him from what Ive seen.

In that, Im sure he'll make it as a pro but dont think he has it to be one with us...
 
Not an other Nigerian wonderkid (22-25)? Given the number of people playing in African football I'm surprised how few have come through since that golden period when virtually every top european team had a very good african player.
