If we're going to sign a backup striker we could do a lot worse. There certainly won't be anyone in the £15-20 million bracket arriving.
Interesting to see that others agree that he's decent.
Say against QPR, having him around to throw on in the last 20-25 minutes when we were really struggling to break them down could be helpful. I think he would be fairly happy as a backup/squad player, so we could be able to keep him and our other strikers/forwards happy, something i think we would struggle with if we signed a straight out starter.
