The trigger for our down-turn?

It is a reasonable excuse only if applied consistently. And if people grant him that "out" then all prior complaints about the previous tenure are null and void. Except we both know that will not happen. Not interested in hearing about Kane's injury; because we haven't seen THAT before have we?!!!
We have never ever had Kane out without a striker at the club... that’s a fact (Poch fudged up letting lamppost leave without a replacement, and it was a Poch call as confirmed at the time by his best bud Ballague)
We also have never had Kane and son out at the same time before
And of course COVID steps in and wipes out the season and the money
And if people can’t see the impact of Covid and the stupidity of trying to finish the season to sort out league places just look at tonight’s result.
But as you say a Poch moved us up the table from the team He inherited. I expect Jose to do the same too, even with the issues this season

Klopp had his "foundation ripped from under him" when two players had gone before he arrived? What do you think he might've said coming in; that such a thing would not happen again unless he got full use of funds and agreed? He turned around and paid 76 million for VVD and 60 million for a keeper! That is off the back of 40+for Fabinho, 35 for Mane, 35 for Ox, 52 for Keita. Like it or not, Klopp was backed fully.

As was Poch. Levy never sold a single player that wanted to play for Poch - AND allowed him to spend £322 million since July 2016 ( see @Jon post 98 for the full list of wasters Poch bought.) Most coaches would LOVE that sort of backing from their Chairman.

Also, in the realisation that winners are needed on the pitch, there should be an understanding that Mourinho (whatever you think of him) has these personality qualities.

What I'm saying is that for us to be winners fans are going to have to put up with players that have qualities that they are moaning about in our manager. There's no way around it.

Players that call each other out, are versed in the dark arts, will put everything on the line in the 89th, that's what it takes to win.

We seem to want to win, but in some idealistic way that's never gonna happen.

I just don't understand this when have any of the managers in the first list here built a successful team without money. Mourinho keeps getting called a cheque book manager, but what has he done differently to any other?

They all spend.
Whose saying they haven't?

In fact whose saying any of what you're saying?
