Definitely. I remember he was really hyped as a future star about 6 years ago. But now has 1 in 17 this season (as a CF) and is nowhere near the level in that league of Troy Parrott.

They don’t look at data when they are panicking.
At this point it's obvious he's not our first, second or even third choice. Players doing well and playing regularly for their clubs aren't going to be easy to bring in mid season because they need them too. You either have to pay way over the odds and possibly hamper spending in the summer or look at loans for out of favour or just plain average players. If you can't get a player you actually want for the longer term, how important is it to have someone come sit on our bench for a few weeks while everyone else gets fit?

Parrott seems to be doing OK when I've looked. Scoring at least 1 in 2 in that league with a few assists to his name.
