Quite a sad story in the end poor lad.

His goal at home to Norwich was quality - and he had some other great finishes too. Was really good in the air considering his height
I would take him over our winger options at the moment because he can at least create something on his own, and can strike a ball from distance - Johnson, Werner, even Son not so much. But I have high hopes for Odobert and Moore....
Well it doesnt mean he hasn’t accepted itthis aged well.
Hows that signature working out for him these days? He has massively declined, he has lost his edge and striking of a ball isn't even as good as it was.....The same Son whose signature goal is an out to in curler past the keeper?
From what I've seen reported he's on around 200k per week with PSG looking to sell him for around 50m (or loan with an obligation to do that)?I can’t see us paying the wages or fee to have Muani long term. I think ’interested’ for us means we’d take him on loan to tide us over for the rest of this season if PSG contribute a percentage. If nobody else wants to pay his full PSG wages for the next 6 months then perhapswe might get him. I think he’ll have suitors prepared to offer a better deal to PSG though.
It’s a huge investment for a gambleFrom what I've seen reported he's on around 200k per week with PSG looking to sell him for around 50m (or loan with an obligation to do that)?
If he's seen as THE right player for us, now and going forward I could see us spending that. Reportedly paying Werner a (way too) solid fraction of that. Around 50m seems to be where we're willing to shop at the moment.
I also think that having sorted significant parts of the squad and essentially put in place the pieces to fix our HG issues with some time I think we may be moving towards more "here and now ready" players now and in the summer.
Less sure on him being THE right player for us. But see some people really rating him and I don't know enough about him.
Of course the "Milo test" (not used by that name on the pod) of us usually signing players somewhat out of the blue and not those being linked to us by the press tells us it's unlikely.

That’s where I’m atI think we could afford him. But it would be instead of a forward/wide forward player in the summer - i.e. it would be a brought forward transfer.
That's the context that we need to decide if he's the right player (I'm undecided to slightly warm)
Don't know much about Muani at all but a quick look at his output doesn't really inspire confidence
I think a loan makes a lot of sense for us. We get to evaluate the player both in the PL and in our system. I think he'd be an interesting fit especially due to his versatility but I'm not sure if outright buying him or an obligated loan makes sense. That would say we really think he's a long term answer. It’s a huge investment for a gamble
I like him
I think he would be a great option but that’s the kind of money that elite players want. I’m not 100% sure he is that. He may be
That’s where I’m at
It’s elite money
I’m not certain he is elite
He doesn’t strike me as being so from the outside
I guess a key is he would replace richarlison so there would be some wages there and also some income from selling him
I’m sure we want Richy goneI don't think we'll sell Richarlison (or will be able to particularly). Unless we don't qualify for any european competition and have to really cut the squad size and let him go for a fire sale price.
If we signed Muani and got EL/EC, I'd perhaps see our front line being:
Odobert---Solanke---Muani
(Son)-----(Richarlison)---(Johnson)
With Moore, Lankshear and Yang likely going on loan.

Either way it will be interesting to see what happens. He's reportedly gaining interest from a number of clubs.
Late bloomer, who hasn't made it at PSG (that's a pretty big list)
Got to look at his German League numbers, 15 goals, 11 assists in the just the league in 1 season (why PSG bought him), has 27 appearances for France just in last two years.
Funny the conversation of is he good enough for us, Juve and United are looking at him, he'd be an upgrade on Richi, Werner, Johnson, he's a better player than most of Arsenal's front line (for reference), big, fast, useful in air, can play any of front 3 and doesn't get injured.
If Ange thinks he fits the system, $50M plus pretty much the same fudging salary we were giving Ndombele isn't out of question
Where would he go though? Unless we sub his wages and let him go cheap to Everton (if they stay up)?I’m sure we want Richy gone
I don’t think the club will keep hold of any players with such a bad injury record now
And I would think if the Muani talk (if) is legit he is the ideal replacement for him due to his versatility… although his hamstrings may be made of cheese strings of course
Everton would take him backWhere would he go though? Unless we sub his wages and let him go cheap to Everton (if they stay up)?
I think we could probably do with both, once we ditch Werner, with Son's decline, and now Kulu is a permanent ACM. Unless we really think Lankshear or Yang are ready
He cost a decent chunk of money as well?I remember that and living in Portsmouth at the time it was a bit of a story!
