To a extent i agree with that, however the sign of a good film is how many people pay to see it and there were many who did that more then once.

But as i say its all about peoples preferences.

Surely the number of people who have paid to seen it is dependant on the stars in the film, in addition to the marketing strategies...



I've been in full cinema's watching crap films and i've been in empty cinemas watching good films.

How many of those can you honestly say are 'good films'?

Even the top 10 highest grossing films of all time has the likes of Harry Potter, Transformers, Pirates of the Caribean and even Star Wars: The Phantom Menace!

This one was really really good fun, I loved it. Not a dramatic, tense, powerhouse kind of film - just terrific fun

I saw Taxi Driver the other year, what with it being a cult classic and all that, and can honestly say I thought it was rubbish.

They are all fairly brick films IMO

possibly, although i didn't really know anything about it other than it kept popping up in various places as a good movie to watch. couldn't really work out whether it was trying to be serious or not
