Not kids, but Doherty, Sessegnon, Bergwign, Gollini, Dier, Lo Celso, Gil....we have enough seniors who might not make our starting 11 but will benefit from the game time

Gollini, Davies, Rodon, Dier, Doherty (or Paskotsi), Gil, Skipp, Dele, Lucas (or Clarke), Scarlett (or backup striker), with a couple 1st teamers on bench

Still leaves PL squad of -> Lloris, Reguilon, Romero (likely), Rodon, Tanganga, PEH, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Kane, Son with very little overlap.

We could not even beat pig farmer FC over two legs with our 1st XI last season, and people want us to play the reserves vs a pretty darn good Portuguese team....
Mind boggling!

The difference is that, in theory, we should be installing a way of playing which is consistent across games, rather than last season when we played ultra-defensive in the league and then suddenly looked clueless when we played against weak teams in the EL and suddenly needed to attack

I always believed we should be on the front foot in any game, but we must attack in cup games.
