totally agree, tonight is the first time they've actually tried to use some penetration since playing Ireland. This is when they make their passing football look entertaining, because there is product. The rest of the time it's not great. They still haven't reached the heights of their 08 performances for me though, the best I've seen.

I can see where you guys are coming from, I can. But personally, I've found Spain's game to be enjoyable in the main, and absolutely thrilling when they turn it on like they have tonight. I cannot for the life of me see good passing and good possession as being boring. But, then again, that's just me. Maybe you guys think differently, and if you do, fair play to you.

Previously I did not think they were boring, rather just controlling.

I love watching exciting attacking football, Spain against Ireland and tonight are this, their other games have involved 10,000 5 yard passes with no purpose, it just doesnt do it for me..
 
I want Italy to get the next goal - make it an interesting last half hour.

Italy have created a few decent chances and Nutella shoulda scored
 
Hats off to Spain, del bosque is a wily old manager, and I wanted Italy to win tonight! Been a very enjoyable and open attacking game from both - Torres, 3-0 !!!

At the start of this tournament I thought he would be the striker of the tournament. A lot of people laughed. He is joint top scorer and has played how many minutes? barely a game n a half in total.
