Arsenal really are the most boring team to watch in the history of football!!! They're a disgrace! Absolutely awful to watch.

I think they've been ok

Rode the Liverpool pressure and and now taking back over.

They're not possession and triangle based, but they transition well and are effective. I think they've been much better football wise then last season.

fudge right off!! Madueke gets away with exactly the same as Bentancur got sent off for!! EXACTLY the same!!

My view is that neither should be red cards, but it's ALWAYS Arsenal that get away with it!! fudging biased ref clams!!!

Respectfully, I think you're missing the tactics here.

Some clubs, ours included, are just sick and tired of the bias nonsense that comes out of the mouths of the Sky p ricks. Carragher heads that list with his mate Neville. They happily abuse their position as pundits and take pot shots at different clubs and players. It is as if they untouchable just like the spitting incident which brought Carragher down with a bump in life. He is a lucky man to still have a job at Sky.

I doubt Villa ever thought that it would go to court and become a real lawsuit. However, Sky soon took that little p rick in a room and made him apologise for being a nob. Villa won the battle and put Sky back in their box. Good for them. Now Carragher will just pause a little each time he is about to step out of line. He'll know that thew world is watching his bahaviours and he might change. He is a leopard though.

Personally, I think some of the clubs like us and Villa do need to throw our weight around with entities like PGMOL and Sky once in a while. It keeps them on their toes and make them act more professionally.

I agree with you on PGMOL, but I just can’t wrap my head around this one with Sky. I don’t want the pundits to be worried that something legal might be hanging over them. All teams get it, the sport is a content machine and the only solution to not getting their criticism is to win games.

Maybe it will make Carragher and others think twice of being critical about Villa. But I really hope it doesn’t, I hope they feel just as emboldened. Not withstanding, I’d me mortified if our owners put out something as stark raving mad as ‘we will not let anyone halt our ascension in English and European football’. A statement like that should make them the target of more ridicule.

The only thing I admire about them is the culture and the buy in that every player clearly has for what they do. It took multiple finishes outside of the top 4 to establish it, but credit to them for taking the time to get it in place.

Otherwise though, horrible club, cringe people, boring football, somehow always the rub of the green with the refs, and really for a club that has spent big money and established a great culture, you’d be entitled to ask for it not to be like this.

Carragher has an opinion on Villa, he expressed it.

Villa took umbrage and in the end they look like total and utter idiots, not him (for a change)

I'm not one to get overexcitable about our side but if Liverpool are meant to be the benchmark of a top 4/5 team then I honestly don't think we're far behind - especially if we sign a decent striker or one of ours miraculously finds their shooting boots. They are nothing special whatsoever....

LEGOhead has been granted the full spending power of Wenger’s stadium at just the right time to pick up a few domestic trophies, as without Klopp or Guardiola there are no truly elite managers in the EPL and VARsenal can simply bore the rest of league into submission.

As much as I loathe how they continue to get away with being state sponsored, I suppose I’ll have to hope that PSG do a CL three-peat; as Bayern and Barcelona both seem to give away too many sloppy goals whilst Real Madrid never seem far from another dressing room bust-up.

ha ha, well done the arse

Spurs win, the fudging dippers lose, Hamilton is on pole and the Cowboys are up at half time, could be a perfect weekend

Just saw the shirt pull. How do they justify not penalising it? In what world do the refs look at that and think; "Nah, that's a perfectly fine way to stop a goalscoring opportunity"? Shocking. Again.

It will be marvellous when they start losing a few on the trot, because I can't for the life of me think that the majority of their players enjoy what they are doing. They tolerate it as long as they're winning, but if it starts to go south, I think they'll unravel like a house of cards in a blizzard.

Because it's arsenal, the time wasting they got away with was unbelievable.
Still can't believe mandueke wasn't sent off.
