The Official 2024/25 Premier League Thread

Brighton losing at home to West Ham. Cheers for that. You can see us ending up finishing below the Hammers now. I did predict 17th a few weeks ago, looks like its happening

But, I will take it if we end up with a trophy

edit: phew 2-2
double edit: even better 3-2

Vardy cheating again. Left a trailing leg to win a penalty. Then had it saved.

Who says these footballing gods don't exist?

Evanilson sent off after VAR review.
It was obvious he'd slipped when making the challenge so common sense would've kept it as a yellow.
Common sense not in most refs mindsets however...

If we play the first XI tomorrow they'll all be injured. Goons seem to have survived unscathed.
No obvious injuries but that won't have helped their preparations I wouldn't think.

Hopefully they'll get knocked out by PSG, then lose to Liverpool and Saudi Sportswashing Machine in next 2 PL games ;)

I'd laugh if City catch them for 2nd

Now its safe for me to post.

It's on now. I posted a few weeks ago I can see them finishing 3rd, right now there's even a chance they can finish 4th

Arsenal - Liverpool (a), Saudi Sportswashing Machine (h), Soton (a)
City - Soton (a), Bournemouth (h), Fulham (a)
Saudi Sportswashing Machine - Brighton (a), Chelsea (h), Arsenal (a), Everton (h)

Arsenal are winning the last match so thats 70pts (w/o the Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Liverpool games)
You can make a case for City winning all 3pts and finishing on 72pts
Toon should be winning both homes, maybe a draw at Brighton? 69pts (w/o Arsenal game)

For me the key game is Arsenal v Saudi Sportswashing Machine. I see them losing at Anfield. So Home win v Toon and they finish 2nd; Draw and I think City just pip them; Away win, and I will wet myself if they finish 4th

Could even finish 4th if Saudi Sportswashing Machine end the season well!

Even if we play our U12s tomorrow, wrap every first team player in cotton wool and keep them locked up in padded rooms until Thursday, we'll pick up a season ending injury or two.
