The Official 2024/25 Premier League Thread

I've always said I feel that if we had gotten Nuno directly after Poch he would have faired much better the club was always suited more a builder coach rather than the nonsense we went for with Jose and Antonio.

By the time Nuno did come in, the club was unrecognisable and the damage was took deep for him to repair.

A lot of Nuno's failure I put on the fans who jumped on his back immediately (part of broader disconnect with club at time)

- Of course there was a lot on him being not first choice but I remember the big thing was his 3 at back system and how he was going to be Jose Mk2 and it would be awful to watch. I think Nuno felt pressured to play a game that wasn't his, when circumstances allowed him to play without question (first game against City) we weren't bad.

He took Wolves to 7th? looks like he will give Forest a top 10 spot, good for him.

Bloody hell Man Utd and Chelsea were poor today. Some observations on Chelsea, Palmer not yet hitting the heights of last season, Caicedo looking like the player he was at Brighton. Fofana back and showing that he is quality, so much better than Disasi and Badeshiel Enzo just does not seem suited to the PL, should be playing in La Liga.

Man Utd, so many mediocre players where do you start?! How on Earth did Ten Hag win any trophies given how poor that team are.

Same way United has won any games against anyone of relevance since OGS days, sit deep, hit on counter with a few players that have pace and hope on individual talent, plus get lucky as fudge ...

Yeah, he didn’t get a fair crack at it.

He also won the Saudi league before he came back to Forest. I know its a farmers league etc. but someone had to win it and I'm sure other high profile coaches are struggling over there.
