The Official 2022/23 Premier League Thread

Would love to know how often Arsenal players are on the floor “injured”.

Mentioned similar last week in the Toon. They have stats for how long the ball is in play/out of play. I would love to see a stat of how many minutes a red shirt is on the deck in a game. It must be minimum 5 minutes

On a side note, how did Everton stick 5 on these at the Amex???

I wish we played like Brighton.

They show time and time again, Taking a risk on an unheard talent seems to pay off.

Indeed. I have no real problem if Brighton pip us to 6th. Villa is different as their fans bore me with their 'sh#t support m'Lord' song

Arteta booked for being himself.

I am LOVING this. Desperate Goons watching the sands of time slip through their fingers.

I saw a lad up the park earlier in a Cheatski shirt, bless him. Poor little soul. Apparently he is a Ukrainian and doesn't know any better.

I also love seeing perennial timewasters being timewasted.

Also look at the Brighton front line making small runs, making themselves available, moving around. Not standing still with their hands up their arses waiting for the cows to come home.

I mean, we are probably linked with every manager out there, bar a few excemptions, but I heard the other day we may enquire again about De Zerbi, post-season obviously.
Watching his team play football. I could live with that, if he is interested in jumping ship.

He would need to get rid of a load of players to get us playing like that though. His tactics needs a lot of desire which a lot of our lot don’t have.

Brighton very rarely try to hoof / clear the ball, its always calm and looking to keep possession even under pressure, its a breath of fresh air to see.
